What I Offer
Individual Counseling and Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
In my practice, I use EMDR specifically tailored for complex trauma, which often arises from prolonged or repeated adversity. By guiding clients through bilateral stimulation—whether through eye movements or tactile cues—I help them process fragmented and overwhelming memories. Neuroscience shows that this reprocessing allows the brain to integrate these experiences, reducing their grip and helping clients feel safer in their bodies. My approach is deeply attuned to each person’s unique history, ensuring they have the support and stability needed to heal complex wounds at a pace that honors their resilience and strength.
Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)
I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a powerful complement to traditional cognitive behavioral approaches. ACT, often considered a "new wave" of CBT, helps clients accept their thoughts and feelings without judgment, while committing to values-driven actions. Instead of trying to eliminate distressing thoughts, ACT empowers clients to build psychological flexibility—so they can live in alignment with their core values, even in the presence of discomfort. Through ACT, clients learn to relate to their experiences differently, fostering resilience, clarity, and a more purposeful life.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
I see Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a foundational skill set that everyone can benefit from. At its core, DBT blends acceptance and change strategies, helping clients regulate intense emotions, tolerate distress, and build more effective interpersonal skills. I often see DBT as a bedrock because it equips clients with practical tools—like mindfulness and emotion regulation—that support them in all aspects of life. By mastering these skills, clients develop a greater sense of balance, confidence, and the ability to handle life’s challenges more effectively.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
ART is like a fast forward button for healing. Instead of years of talk therapy, it uses quick guided imagery to reframe tough memories, kind of like editing a bad scene in your brains movie. And get this: It is so gentle, many people feel relief in just 1-3 sessions. Want to imagine how it could feel to rewrite your story?
Life is too short to feel stuck in misery.
Hey—I see you.
You might be feeling stuck, tired, anxious, or just not like yourself lately. And I want you to know something right away: that is okay.
You don’t have to keep pushing through, pretending you’re fine, or waiting until things get “bad enough” to ask for support.
We’ll work together—step by step—to figure out what’s going on underneath the overwhelm and what actually helps you feel more grounded, more clear, and more like you again.
This is your space to slow down. To breathe. To untangle what’s been weighing on you. And to start feeling steady in your own life again.
Because life is too short to feel miserable, disconnected, or stuck in your head all the time.
I work with women 50 and under, with a strong focus on college-age women and young adults navigating the pressure, confusion, and emotional intensity of this stage of life—but I also support women in their 30s, 40s, and beyond who are ready for change, healing, and a different way of living.
No matter your age, if you’re here, something in you is saying: “I don’t want to feel like this anymore.”
And that matters.
You don’t need to have it all figured out to start therapy.
Maybe you’re overthinking everything.
Maybe relationships feel confusing or draining.
Maybe you’re constantly trying to keep everyone else happy and losing yourself in the process.
Maybe anxiety is running the show.
Or maybe you just feel off—and you can’t quite explain why.
Whatever it is, you don’t have to carry it alone anymore.
In our work together, we’ll go beyond just talking about what’s wrong.
I’ll help you understand your patterns, calm your nervous system, and learn how to respond differently when life feels overwhelming. You’ll start to recognize what’s actually yours to carry—and what isn’t.
When it fits your needs, I also incorporate somatic approaches, EMDR-informed work, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help you process things more deeply, not just talk about them.
Most importantly, you don’t have to perform here.
You don’t have to be the “put together” version of yourself.
You can show up messy, emotional, unsure, angry, heartbroken, anxious—or just exhausted from trying to hold it all together.
We’ll start exactly there.
You are not behind.
You are not broken.
And you are not supposed to have your whole life figured out right now.
But you can learn how to trust yourself again, set boundaries that actually stick, choose relationships that feel safe, and stop letting anxiety run your life.
If you’re tired of trying to figure it all out in your own head…
Let’s talk.
